Located in Jardim da Fortaleza do Pico, Café Fortaleza is the ideal place to spend the day and start the evening. Immersion in the local culture happens when we spend enough time in the places we visit, getting to know their flavours and people. A place for meetings and good times, adults stay on the terrace while the younger ones play in the children's park.
The menu is not very elaborate, with its focus on light meals. However, the offer of sandwiches and pastries (including croissants, pastries and traditional pastries) is quite generous. Chocolate Brownie stands out as the star of desserts. The drinks menu is further improved, offering several drinks with coffee, beers, juices and spirits, namely Madeira Wine, Brandy and Bitter Almond. The focus from starters to desserts is on providing a unique experience of flavours. The average price is €20/2 pax.
