If you are a visitor who appreciates tranquillity, take a bus and head to the well-known parish of Monte. After visiting the Monte Palace Tropical Garden, considered one of the thirteen most beautiful gardens in the world, get in the cable car and prepare yourself for the surprises.
Lasting about 10 minutes, start at a maximum altitude of 100 m over a line of 1600 m. During your trip, you will have an extraordinary view of the sea in the distance, forests, water courses, mountains, the Bay of Funchal and the city.
The line ends at Quinta do Bom Sucesso in Jardim Botânico da Madeira, just 3 km from the centre. You won't regret taking the opposite route as most people when you see the long queues on arrival. You still have time to visit one of the most emblematic gardens on the island. Celebrate your Garden Day.
