Praia das Palmeiras

Praia das Palmeiras, situated in the eastern part of Madeira island and located in Santa Cruz, is an excellent place to go to the beach with the family because of its many attractions for all ages, especially for the younger ones. For this reason, it is one of the most frequented beaches during the bathing season.

This place is of rocky formation and is divided into two sections: the first section consists of a pebble beach, crystal-clear water, a lifeguard and all the necessary infrastructure for bathers (with access also for users with reduced mobility); and the second section, with two swimming pools (children and adults), restaurants, and supervised attractions, such as the famous treasure island for a younger public.

To get to Palmeiras Beach, you can do so by car, cab, or bus (lines 103 and 113).
