Praia de Machico

Machico Beach, also known as Banda d'Além Beach, is located in the parish and bay of Machico and is 125 meters long and 70 meters wide. A curiosity about this beach, besides the famous pebbles, it was the second beach in Madeira to import white sand from Morocco, being one of the few with this characteristic.

This beach has all the infrastructure to support and access the promenade. At the same time, it offers all the gastronomy for which Madeira island is well-known through the restaurants that are close by. Machico Beach is therefore perfect for spending the hot and sunny summer days.

You can get to this beach by SAM bus (lines 20, 23, 53, 78, 113, 156 or 208), cab or car.
