Praia do Garajau

Praia do Garajau is part of the Madeira Natural Park in Caniço, Santa Cruz, and consists of a pebble beach at the bottom of a cliff. To get to this magnificent place you can do so by various means of transportation, be it by car, cab, bus or cable car. If you choose to go by bus, be aware that this will not take you to the beach, you will have to go down the cliff on foot or by cable car.

This beach has crystal clear water, contrasting the typical green of Madeira island and the blue of the sea. It is ideal for sunbathing, swimming or even sport diving lovers.

Here you can also find a restaurant, a café, and other facilities typical of a bathing area.
