Rei da Poncha

Located in the heart of Funchal, on a lively corner of Rua da Alfândega, Rei da Poncha serves the best Madeiran Poncha (traditional alcoholic drink) on the island! The esplanade could not be more inviting, and the atmosphere overflows with joy and companionship. Locals say: "after three glasses of Poncha, the fourth one is even easier to drink, and the fifth, one doesn't even notice"!

The beverage menu is naturally dedicated to Poncha, ranging from the most traditional to variations with tangerine and passion fruit. As a complement to the menu, the space offers other alcoholic drinks and small snacks and snacks to accompany the drink, namely peanuts, toast, hamburgers and French fries. The average price is €20/2 pax.
