Miradouro do Véu da Noiva

Viewpoint

The Bride's Veil Viewpoint got its name because of a waterfall that can be seen and, due to its height and the amount of water that slides down the hillside, it resembles a bride's veil. One of the reasons behind this abundance of underground water is essentially due to the climate, the presence of dense vegetation and the geological constitution that characterizes the island of Madeira.

The viewpoint is a mandatory stop for those who want to enjoy the incredible views of this archipelago. It is located on the old road that connects Seixal to São Vicente, allowing you to see the iconic waterfall, a fantastic view over the Atlantic and the northern slopes of Madeira Island.

To get here, you can do so by cab, car, or through the tourist services available in the Madeira region.
