Designed in 1993 by Cabell Robinson, the Palheiro Golf course fits well with the Quinta do Palheiro area and was built with the concern of taking advantage of the hills, peaks and valleys typical of Madeira's topography. For these reasons, it becomes a challenging, exciting and competitive playing course adapted to all levels of practice and users with reduced mobility. Also known for the exotic diversity of its flora, it offers incredible views over the Funchal Bay, the sea and the distant Ilhas Desertas.
This course consists of 18 holes, over 6000 metres long and 500 metres above the average water level. Prices vary between €45 and €335. The Spa, located close by, offers packages in conjunction with the Golf experiences. Palheiro Golf is Palheiro Nature State Accommodation's integral part, offering various services, including restaurant, accommodation and the typical Clubhouse.
