Santo da Serra Golf
Golf
Since 1920, we have found evidence of golf in Madeira, specifically at the Santo da Serra Golf Club. Built in 1937 and redesigned in 1991 by Robert Jones, this is considered one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe. An authentic botanical garden at your disposal with unbelievable panoramic views of the mountains and sea, namely Machico Bay, where the Discoverers disembarked for the first time.
Comprising 27 holes characterised by rich fairways and greens and a choice of tee positions allowing you to favour all abilities. We highlight holes 3 and 4 of the Machico course, which are authentic hallmarks of the golf course. The Club organises the Madeira Islands Open and welcomes big stars such as Seve Ballesteros, Luke Donald and Lee Westwood.
The Club invites you to practice golf, regardless of your experience level and offers a complementary set of services, such as a hotel, restaurant, golf academy, Club House, event organisation and Junior Golf. Prices are between €45-€135.
Open every day from 08h00-18h00. Courtesy Bus - transfer from the Hotel and from Funchal to Campo.
