With a regional character, it exhibits a collection with more than 41,000 specimens of animal species, as well as valuable elements of the flora and geology of the Madeira Archipelago. Explore species of fish, birds, land/marine mammals, marine reptiles, insects and other invertebrates, plants and a representative collection of rocks and minerals. As for the garden, you will discover dozens of medicinal, aromatic, indigenous and endemic plants.
